MELISSONAS VATOPEDIOU- PINE HONEY

by MELISSONAS VATOPEDIOU

Tradition has it that the monks have been involved in the production of Cells since ancient times, as Cells are a staple food mainly on the island's daycare days, and as an accompaniment to tea decorations offered to the monks of the numerous pilgrims. The inhabitants of Pselissa belong to the local tribe. They feed exclusively on the rich and indestructible Athonite flora, which, due to the ideal weather conditions that prevail, generously offers them their food, having a floral cover almost throughout the year.
